I am not alone

I know you are hurting and questioning every aspect of your life. This situation has been cruel and at times, you wonder what you have done to deserve so much pain.

Your days are filled with praying, crying and hoping. You question if God is even listening. As the weekend comes it's the harshest thing to bear, as you see families preparing to do all of the fun things you use to do with your family. You remember your spouse texting you, right before getting off from work on Friday, "pizza or subs?". People planning date nights with their spouse as you dread walking into your bedroom, knowing you will lay in bed alone missing your one flesh.

God sees you, as you cry out to him, he holds you tightly in his arms. That day you cried so hard that you got a headache, he was there. In fact he listened to your prayers before you even spoke it.

He sees the grief, he knows the trauma, he saw them walk away from you, he is not silent, he is your father, and his arms are not short, nor are his ears closed. He is waiting for you to look to him. He is waiting on you to trust him, even though everything has fallen to pieces. He has been waiting all of your life for you to need him, and love him more than anything in the world. In him is where true peace is found. Ever tear and every rip, he will heal. He has waited for so long to heal your broken heart, and in this moment he wants you to give it all to him.

I know your scared, he seems to have allowed so much to happen, why didn't he save your marriage......because first he wants to save you.

I want to encourage you as you go into the weekend, this can be difficult but I am a living testimony that if your trust God, even when he has seemingly not answered any of your prayers, you will walk in peace. Surrender and place your hope in God. He will restore every stolen moment, he will heal your heart and he will restore your family....but it will start with you. Hold on people of God, these lonely weekends, will be a thing of the past soon. Take time to fill your heart with the Lord, and never fill alone again. This part of the journey is necessary as it will prepare you for the blessing, faint not, God will sustain you.

He will heal you, vindicate you...restore you!
