*BOOK INTRODUCTION*
Our suddenly/restoration day came on July 31st 2022; an almost 2-year separation apart and many years as an inhouse prodigal!!. During that time, I went from being all about it being about me; he tricked me to leave our home, and all the turmoil and pain of being unceremoniously and unjustifiably replaced by his ex girlfriend/on and off married lover/adulteress; to finding several restoration marriage ministries; until the humble servant named Keshia Torruella was found by me (God's directive) on You Tube, to joining her in this journey called RESTORATION...
God always finds a way to get to you.....
What followed was so many ups and downs, double mindedness, tears, fears, breakdowns, meltdowns, shakedowns until I went over to Houston/Dallas for six months to flee from the pain and shame.
Keshia and I became firm friends then twin sisters(spiritually speaking) where to this day we still have our ministry "Restoring and preserving your marriage through prayer"
Those years were CRAZY!!
They were like living a movie montage of shenanigans and crazy discussions and ups and downs. Extreme frustrations and outrageous insight.
The conclusion that both Keshia and I came to after many months of doing this, was that we're here for God and God alone. To accomplish His purpose on this earth for His Glory!! We're not here just to get our spouse back, and to continue living in la-la land.
We're being called to *STAND* for both ourselves and for our spouses. It's For His Will and Way to be done in us as it is in heaven.
Once we came to that conclusion, even after both of us at multiple points begged God to let us be free from this torture and move on. Praying for months to have clarity; the reminder came back over, and over again with confirmation after confirmation, this is not about me. This is about God and what I'm doing for his son, his lost sheep.... God loved my husband so much and knew he was in danger by way of atrocious levels of manipulation and witchcraft that I was called to Stand. I was admonished to Stand. I was charged to Stand for "His son"
You must allow God to change you and this is about your relationship with Him first. Getting yourself aligned with Him! Your spouse and you are second in this situation.
Friendly reminder though. Standings for life. God's work in our life through Christ's sacrifice and relationship with him is a process to death. For both you and your spouse. So be ready. It comes suddenly and furiously.
BUT.....It's all worth it in the end!
Restoration is God's glory as He rewrites your story....
